PURPOSE:To provide a bearing device which can prevent damage by a fire of a bearing device due to deflection of a bearing surface pressure and unstable vibration due to oil whip by securing one bearing stand of a rotary machine to a foundation plate and by axially inclining a contact surface between the other bearing stand and the foundation plate. CONSTITUTION:A bearing stand 2 secured to a casing 1 is fixed to the foundation 4a through a foundation plate 4, and a wedge 5 is wedged in at a right angle to a shaft 6 of a rotor built in the casing 1 so that the bearing stand 2 is not moved even if the casing 1 is thermally expanded. The base 3a of a bearing stand 3 is inclined downward on the right relative to the shaft 6 and supported by the upper surface 8a of the foundation plate 8 secured to the foundation 7. The opposed base 3a and the upper surface 8a are adapted to form a contact surface therebetween so as to slide. The angle of inclination is set enough to cancel a height how the bearing stand 3 rises due to thermal expansion of the casing 1. |
