PURPOSE:To efficiently transfer and cool materials to be cooled having various kinds of cross sectional shapes by using one cooling bed, by changing an upper surface of cooling bed to a V-shaped groove skid or a flat surface skid in accordance with use of said material. CONSTITUTION:In the case of mounting a hot-rolled material to be cooled on a skid and transferring it; liftable V-shaped groove skids 14, 14'... amd liftable flat surface skids 15 and 15' are adjustable in height against fixed V-shaped groove skids 13 and 13', accordingly when said material is large-sized round bar, the material is mounted on respective V-shaped grooves of the skids 13 and 13'... by actuating respective cylinders 19a to a shrinking direction to hold the skids 14, 14'... and the skids 15 and 15' at their descended positions, respectively. Further, a flat bar or a shape steel is mounted on the skids 15, 15' having flat upper surfaces formed by raising them. |
