DOUBLE HULL LOW TEMPERATURE TANK

PURPOSE:To require no breathing tank for adjusting the pressure of a thermal insulation space by controlling the pressure of the thermal insulation space between the inner and outer hulls by means of the atmospheric temperature in the thermal insulation space. CONSTITUTION:A pressure detection means 14 and a temperature controlling means 15 for adjusting the temperature of the atmosphere in accordance with the detection value are provided in the thermal insulation space 11 between the inner hull 9 containing a low temperature storage liquid 10 and an outer hull 12. When the detection value of the pressure detection means 14 exceeds a certain range, the low temperature storage liquid is flowed through a pipe 16 so as to cool and contract the atmosphere in the thermal insulation space 11, but when the detection value becomes lower than a certain range, a heat source such as steam is flowed through the pipe 16 so as to heat and expand the atmosphere.
