PURPOSE:To provide a simplified compact valve construction by fixing a valve rod in a sleeve inserted slidably into a cone fixed to a main body and an opening portion of an outlet pipe and moving this valve rod axially by a drive member. CONSTITUTION:A sleeve 1 is axially slidably inserted into respective openings of a cone 11 fixed in a main body 1 and an outlet pipe 5 fixed to the rear portion of the main body 1. Next, a valve rod 19 is fixed to a mounting rib 22 fixed to the sleeve 7 and a male screw 23 formed on an end of the valve rod 19 is threaded into a female screw 27 provided in a rotary member 26 while being connected to a drive shaft 30 fixed to a drive member 34 through bevel gears 28, 32. When the drive member 34 is driven the rotary member 26 pivots to move the valve rod 19 left and slide the sleeve 7 left at the same time so that a valve port 9 is opened. Thus, the number of the valve rod 19 does not exceed 1 and the sleeve valve can be constructed to be simple and compact. |
