In a motor vehicle window having a window light 1 secured in the surround 3, 4, 5 of a window opening in the vehicle body by an adhesive 6, the trim strip 7 has a T-shaped profile the limb 8 of which is formed as a lateral portion of a lateral section 9 of the strip bent through 180‹ back upon itself to form a beading 9 for securing to the marginal portion of the light 1 by an adhesive 12, the said limb 8 being bent through 90‹ with respect to the beading 9 to engage the edge of the light and enable the trim strip to be easily centralised on the light 1. The material of the strip is resilient to enable the cross-bar 10 to accommodate itself to the coachwork 5 adjacent the window opening. A two part adhesive may be used to secure the beading 9 to the light 1. |
