The invention relates to a fastening device which can be attached to a two-wheeler and is intended for fastening a luggage container, equipped with an upper lid, by means of hook-in straps (11, 14) which can be fastened to a side wall (13) of the luggage container (12) and supporting tongues (3, 4, 5) which project into said hooks and can be fastened to the two-wheeler, at least one hook-in strap (11) having an enlarged inside width and the associated supporting tongue (3, 4) being capable of being supported by its free end on the edge of the upper lid (6) and, in the process, coming to bear against the hook-in strap (11) and having locking means which can be passed through the inside width of the hook-in strap (11) and in this position prevent this hook-in strap from being displaced in the direction (17) of unhooking. <IMAGE>
