PURPOSE:To perform high energy density working satisfactorily, by providing a seal cover around the part to be worked to partition a sealed space, and providing a port that introduces shielding gas on the side wall of the seal cover and thereby sealing the part to be worked surely. CONSTITUTION:A sealed space 8 is partitioned by placing a cap-shaped seal cover 9 having an open rim 7 around the part to be remelted 5 of a member to be remelted 4. A shielding gas introducing port 11 is provided on the side wall 10 of the seal cover 9, and shielding gas regulated in flow rate and pressure is sent into the sealed space 8, and discharged from a discharge port 15. A high energy remelting device such as laser etc. is operated and a laser beam etc. is irradiated onto the part to be remelted 5 through a transmitting window 17. By this gas sealing device 6, the part to be remelted 5 is remelted being in the completely cut off state from oxygen in the atmosphere. |
