<p>PURPOSE:To reclaim resins, by cutting waste resins into a desired size, grinding the cut resin, eliminating foreign matters, and irradiating it with far infrared rays to make it into granules. CONSTITUTION:A waste such as foamed resins or filmy resins is cut into a desired size, or is ground, then the resin is separated from other materials by the specific gravity screening method or the like, and preferably after dehydrated, the resin is irradiated with far infrared rays to be dried, shrunk, deaerated, and solidified into granules. As a fer infrared ray heater 7, it is possible to use a heater wherein a resistance wire 72 such as a nichrome wire is arranged in a space of a hollow body 71 of a ceramic having a prescribed thickness. The ceramic 71 is preferably one that is prepared by calcining a mixture containing 60% ZrO2.SiO2, 15% mineralizer consisting of a manganese oxide and at least one of oxides of iron, cobalt, nickel and chrome, and the balance of clay.</p> |
