PURPOSE:To improve the performance of the current conductor, which supplies currents to a low temperature section from a normal temperature section, while reducing cost by stacking a large number of porous metallic plates or wire nets, thermally contacting the plates or nets with a current conductor proper and flowing a refrigerant through the plates or nets. CONSTITUTION:A large number of the metallic plates 14, central sections thereof have cylindrical sections 15 fitted to the current conductor proper 1 and in planes thereof a large number of holes 16 are bored, are fitted to the proper 1 at proper intervals. That is, the cylindrical sections 15 and the proper 1 are thermally contacted through adhesives, etc. reducing contact resistance, and the outer circumferences of the metallic plates 14 are surrounded by an outer cylinder 8. Consequently, refrigerant passages 9 are formed by the holes 16, and the refrigerant is flowed through the passages to cool the proper 1. Here, the metallic plate 14 may be one metallic plate 17 with holes 18 with rhombic sections, and the size of the holes 18 through which the proper 1 is penetrated is previously made smaller than the outer diameter of the proper 1 at that time to improve these fitting. Accordingly, a large number of the thin metallic plates 14 can be stacked, and a cooling area is increased. |
