PURPOSE:To obtain the titled plate that is longer and has a thin foamed body without using a foaming agent and an adhesive, by setting two metal plates in press molds, charging an epoxy resin powder or the like between them, opening the molds after the preliminary molding, and molding it by hardenig and foaming. CONSTITUTION:The two metal plates (e.g. Al metal plates, etc.) are set in the heated press molds 1a, 1b, the epoxy resin mixture 3 that has been prepared by mixing an epoxy resin powder with a hardening agent in such a ratio that the hardening reaction can take place is charged between the metal plates, is molded preliminarily by the press molding, the mold 1b is opened, and the mixture is hardened, foamed and molded to obtain the intended sandwich plate 6 having a desired thickness. Alternatively, at the same time with the prelimiary molding, the mixture may be shaped three-dimensionally by the press molding to obtain a three-dimensional sandwich plate. |
