PURPOSE:To reduce a cover body housing area by constituting a hatch cover with a pair of cover bodies opened and closed while rotating around a supporting shaft provided on the both side edges of a hatch and by locating said cover body on the vessel outer plate side when opening the hatch. CONSTITUTION:A hatch cover is constituted with a pair of cover bodies 5, and the each cover body 5 consists of plate bodies 5A, 5B connected to each other via a hinge 6. The one plate body 5A out of said plate bodies is rotatably supported on the supporting shaft 9 of a bearing 8 fixed on the upper deck 4 near the both side edges of the hatch 3 via an arm 7. Accordingly, the hatch 3 may be opened by firstly turning each tip side plate body 5B in the arrow (d) direction taking the hinge 6 as a fulcrum, and by further turning each base end side plate body 5A in the arrow (b) direction taking the supporting shaft 9 as a fulcrum, by means of a derrik or the like. |
