PURPOSE:To minimize the extension of a jack cylinder above a machine by retracting the jack cylinder with respect to the upper part thereof as the supporting point into a sponson beam so as to house it inside the beam when an out- rigger is stored. CONSTITUTION:When a sponson beam is housed, a projection piece 54 of a jack cylinder and a press pin 22 contact each other just before the end of a retraction stroke of the beam 3 and the press pin 2 pushes the projection piece 54 by the final stroke thereof so that the jack cylinder 5 is swung and displaced in the inclined state for housing. When the out-rigger is used, with the sponson beam 3 extended outside the machine, the jack cylinder 5 is vertically stretched to ground a float 6. The jack cylinder 5 is vertically locked by engaging an arm 55 of a cylinder tube 51 into an engagement dent 72 in a cam member 7 which is mounted on the sponson beam 3. |
