PURPOSE:To reduce total number of electrode driving circuits by making contact a developer onto one of a recording electrode or an opposite electrode and one side of a recording substance, controlling each electrode by means of a dividing control method, and preventing attachment of a toner onto a surface where a recording is not carried out. CONSTITUTION:Applying a voltage by alternatively selecting a recording electrode in the side C to the channel A and channel B, and applying a voltage by selecting stepwise one after another the opposite electrode in the side D, a record is carried out in order onto sections corresponding to the blocks from E1-EN by making contact of a developer 2 only with the surface of a recording medium 3 where the record is carried out, a short-coming such that toner particles attach to surface of the recording medium 3 where the record is not carried out by drawing the toner towrad the opposite electrode D can be eliminated. |
