<p>A disconnectable connector for use in systems for handling and manipulating an encapsulated quantity of radioactive material is made of two components which can be connected together in a manner which permits either component to swivel through a wide range of angles around the other component, without danger of becoming accidentally disconnected. A positive latch holds the two components together. The latch must be intentionally opened in order to disconnect the two components one from the other.</p> |
