<p>A printed circuit board comprises a metal sheet (10) on one surface of which is carried a pattern of electric conductors (12) spaced from the sheet by an electrically-insulating layer (11). Apertures are formed through the insulating layer (11) in areas where a heat-generating component (13) is expected to be mounted on the surface of the board for connection to the conductors (12).
