PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a high temperature canned motor by connecting all connecting parts of a motor coil using Ni-plated copper wires at the place where it is held at the atmospheric temperature out of the motor, thereby preventing an accident due to the oxidation of the copper wires. CONSTITUTION:A relatively long guide tube 38 is provided at part of a motor casing 34 of a canned motor 12 which is surrounded at the inner periphery of a stator assembly 16 sealed liquidtightly with a stator can 30 and which is sealed by a rotor can at the outer periphery of a rotor assembly 18. The terminals X, Y, Z and U, V, W of field coils of the respective phases of the stable assembly 16 are led together with part of the coil into the tube 38, the terminals X, Y, Z of the coils are connected to the neutral point, and the terminals U, V, W are connected to the connecting terminal of a power source in a terminal box 40 arranged at the end of the tube 38. In this manner, the oxidation of the copper wire, from which Ni-plating is exfoliated, can be prevented. |
