The device for producing the corrugated toothed zone of a magnetic conductor of an electrical machine, from strip material, has a housing (1) in which a first guide element (2) and a second guide element (3), which are connected to their drive for a reciprocating movement in a plane which is at right angles to the feed of direction of the strip (5), and two tools (4) for bending the strip (5) are accommodated, which tools are connected to a drive for their rotation and rest on the guide elements (2, 3). The device furthermore has a moving stop (6) with a drive for a reciprocating movement, which stop is arranged between the first and the second guide elements (2, 3), separating elements (8) which have a feed drive, rest on the first and on the second guide elements (2, 3) and are arranged above and, respectively, below the moving stop (6), as well as sprung end stops (11).
