The copying press includes feeding means (48,70,71,72,32,54,95) for copying papers(9), copying means (14,20,21,22), a thermal fixation means(33), a controlling means(91) for the copying press, detection switches(75,86,87) positiond along the feeding passageway(32) of the copying paper. When the power switch(5) is in ON-position, the controller(91) allows the feeding means to operate for predetermined time, and to discharge the copying paper(9) remained on the feeding passageway(32), and then the thermal fixation means(33) to operate according to the detection which the copying paper is not remained on the feeding passageway.
