PURPOSE:To facilitate migration of Li ion and increase discharge utilization of Li without applying pressure by using a negative electrode manufactured in such a way that fine powder of a solid electrolyte is mixed with molten lithium and this mixture is cooled and then a thin plate is made with this mixture. CONSTITUTION:For example, 10-50wt%, preferably 10-30wt% fine powder of solid electrolyte, for example, LiI(Al2O3), Li3N, Li2P2S7, having a particle size of, for example, 10-100mum, preferably, 10-50mum is mixed with molten Li, this mixture is cooled, then a thin plate is made with this mixture. A battery using this thin plate as a negative electrode increases discharge utilization of Li and can efficiently provide discharge capacity. |
