PURPOSE:To simply test a still picture transmitter, by transmitting a pseudo signal at a transmission side to a reception side, in detecting a test mode signal at the transmission side. CONSTITUTION:Data for transmission control only is transmitted to a transmission side from a transmission control circuit transmission section 10 by depressing a push button of a control circuit 7 as ''remote'' and ''transmission''. At the transmission side, the transmission control data is demodulated, the remote test mode is detected, a relay at the transmission side is operative and connection is made to a pseudo picture signal generating circuit 20 with a switching circuit 2. In detecting the transmission data, this pseudo picture signal is stored by one field in a memory. A modulation circuit 9 provides a transmission control data, demodulates and transmits a pseudo still picture signal. At the reception side, this signal is demodulated, stored in the memory, converted into a television still picture signal and outputted from an output terminal (d). |
