PURPOSE:To reduce loss of incidence by a method wherein ribs having heights lower than a half of the hight of the vanes and capable of unifying the flows of the outlet of an impeller are provided on the surface of flow paths for a diffuser plate while the cambers of the ribs between the outlet and inlet of the vanes as well as the vanes are formed uniformly. CONSTITUTION:Ribe 15, having heights lower than a half of the height of a vane 7 and capable of unifying the non-uniform flows at the outlets of an impeller 1, are provided on the surface of the flow path of the diffuser plates 4, 5 between the vanes 7. Said ribs 15 are formed so that they are extended to the upstream side than the front rims of the vanes 7, the angle of inlet at the front rim of the ribs is smaller than the same of the vanes 7 and the cambers of the ribs 15 between the outlet and inlet of the vanes 7 become the same as those of the vanes 7. According to this method, fluid near the wall surface of the diffuser 6 without vanes is increasing the flowing angle thereof as it is advancing to the downstream along the ribs 15 while the angle of the flow thereof and the angle of the vane are coincided at the inlet of the diffuser 8 with the vanes, and whereby the loss of incidence may be reduced remarkably. |
