PURPOSE:To decrease the ash content and to improve the properties, the quality, and the production yield, etc., by producing a disk type recording carrier with the conductive carbon black which is subjected to deliming treatment using inorganic acid and heat treatment in a non-oxidizable atmosphere and within a specific temperature range. CONSTITUTION:The conductive carbon black which is used to an electrostatic capacity type video disk, etc. undergoes a dispersion treatment of about an hour in the inorganic acid like hydrochloric acid, etc. and at a room temperature and then the washing with the NH3 water and pure water after the filtering and water washing treatments. Thus the ash content is excluded out of the carbon black. The carbon black which was washed and dried undergoes a heat treatment of about two hours in a non-oxidizable atmosphere like N2 gas, etc. and at 400-900 deg.C and is cooled. A mixture containing 10-40pts.wt. carbon black and 100pts.wt. thermoplastic resin is used to produce a disk. Such disk has no change of characteristics due to the moisture absorption at a high temperature and low humidity, and no projection is caused by the moisture absorption on the disk surface. Therefore the quality and the yield can be improved for a disk. |
