PURPOSE:To feed the lubricating oil to bearings by the optimum quantity and improve reliability by a method wherein partitioning walls are provided in a high hydraulic pressure chamber feeding the oil to an auxiliary bearing, a main bearing and a connecting rod so as to enable to change hydraulic pressure applying times for hydraulic pressure chambers for feeding the oil to respective bearings. CONSTITUTION:When a crank shaft 2 is rotated and is shifted to a condition shown by the diagram B, an eccentric hole 8A provided on the crank shaft 2 is communicated with the main bearing and a high hydraulic pressure chamber 9A for the connecting rod through a path 10 and the like, therefore, the hydraulic pressure in said high hydraulic pressure chamber 9A may be kept in constant. On the other hand, the communication between the eccentric hole 8B and a high hydraulic pressure chamber 9B for the auxiliary bearing is interrupted in this case, therefore, the hydraulic pressure in the high hydraulic pressure chamber 9B, communicating with the auxiliary bearing (not shown in the diagram) through the path 15, is dropped. By providing the partitioning walls 16 in the high hydraulic pressure chambers 9A, 9B, feeding the oil to the auxiliary bearing, the main bearing (not shown in the diagram) and the connecting rod 12, in such manner, the amount of the oil fed to respective bearings may be set arbitrarily, the lubricating oil may be fed by the optimum quantity and the reliability may be improved. |
