PURPOSE:To obtain a solid electrolyte battery having large descharge capacity by using a compound being indicated with (SN)4-10 as a conductive mass of a positive electrode comprising a metal halide. CONSTITUTION:8-10vol% compound being indicated with (SN)4-10is mixed as a conductive mass to a positive active mass comprosing a metal halide, a metal oxide, and a metal sulfide to form a positive electrode 1. This positive electrode 1 is faced to a negative electrode 3 of a lithium plate via a solid electrolyte 2 comprising a binary electrolyte of LiI(Al2O3) and Li3N-LiI, and they are sealed between sealing plates 5 and 6 with a ceramic ring 4 to form a solid electrolyte battery. Because (SN)4-10 has high conductivity, therefore, its adding amount can be decreased, the filling amount of the positive active mass can be increased to increase discharge capacity and to decrease its scatter. |
