PURPOSE:To perform an information exchange in audio between a host computer and a work station, by superimposing an audio signal on a serial interface logical signal to use a serial interface cable. CONSTITUTION:In an electronic computer system connecting a host computer 1 and a work station 3 with a serial interface cable 2, an interphone device 6 providing a control amplifying circuit 1, a tone mixer circuit 13, and a tone squelch circuit 14 for the computer 1 and the station 3 is provided. An audio signal from the interphone device 6 is superimposed on a logical signal between the host computer 1 and the work station 3 with a mixer circuit 7 and transmitted to the cable 2. The logical signal and the audio signal are separated at a separator circuit 8. |
