PURPOSE:To simply adjust the position of an air outlet nozzle for a short time in accordance with a trial car by sealing the gap between the duct of a wind tunnel and the air outlet nozzle with tubes and enabling the air outlet nozzle to move in the longitudinal direction. CONSTITUTION:When a trial car 9 having a back wheel driving machanism is to be tested, the back wheels 10 of the trial car 9 are put on the rotor 8 of a chassis-dinamometer and the relative position of air outlet nozzle 3 is fixed to drive the car. If the front wheels are put on the rotor 8 when a trial car 11 having a front wheel driving mechanism is to be tested, compressed air in tubes 4a, 4b is discharged to the external, a gap is generated between each duct and tire and air outlet nozzle 3 made movable because the trial car is separated too far from the air outlet nozzle 3. Subsequently the air outlet nozzle 3 is advanced by an appropriate moving device and the distance between the air oulet nozzle 3 and the trial car 11 is fixed. Then compressed air is charged in the tubes 4a, 4b to expand them and the tire 6 is closely adhered to the duct 2 to airtightly seal them. |
