PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of erythrocytes or dust and to detect stably the existence or position of a leucocyte, by detecting the leucocyte by the difference between wavelength characteristics of light transmissivity by a condensing mirror and a phototransistor and finding the position by an image sensor. CONSTITUTION:Light from a slide 2 is condensed by a condensing mirror 6 and is divided into two by a half-transmitting mirror 8. Then, the one hand light is made incident to a phototransistor 10 through a green filter 9 and the other hand light is made incident to a phototransistor 12 through a blue filter 11. The output signals of two phototransistors 10, 12 are inputted into a substracter 13 and signals according to the difference between the light quantity of green and blue colors i.e. the difference in transmissivity are obtained. These signals are compared by a standard voltage 15 and a comparator 14 and the existence of a leucocyte is decided. An image sensor is juxtaposed in the mirror 6 and the position of the leucocyte at the time of deciding the existence of the leucocyte is found by the position minimizing the output of the image sensor. |
