PURPOSE:To remove hysteresis errors and to measure precisely and quickly fine displacement at the time of statistic creep displacement and oscillation by elastically supporting the cores of a differential transformer for the measurement of displacement. CONSTITUTION:The cores 31, 32 of a differential transformer are arranged in a cylindrical room 11 having sealed structure so as to be relatively displaceable. Both of the cores can be elastically displaced in a cylindrical room while being fixed by respective rods 34, 36 and supported by an arachnoid diaphragm 37. A spring 48 is fitted to the other end of the rod 34 and the other end of the spring 48 is fixed in an inner pipe 22 to be pulled out from an outer pipe 13 by a strut 49. The leading end of the inner pipe 22 has ball joint 23. On the other hand, the rod 36 is connected to a wire 4 through a universal joint 52. Since the tensile force between the joint 23 and the wire is balanced with the elastic force of the spring, these cores are set around a coil. Hysteresis errors are removed by the spring 48. |
