PURPOSE:To shift high-frequency energy unidirectionally and to continue an electric oscillation with a large power for a required time for a load-side LC resonator, by changing the resonance frequency of the LC resonator at the power supply side through the use of a variable inductance. CONSTITUTION:Variable and fixed LC resonance circuits RC1 and RC are coupled via a capacitor C0 of a small capacitance. A gap switch GS is inserted to the circuit RC1 and connected with a high-voltage DC power supply via a high resistance RS. An output coil OUT is coupled with an inductance element of the circuit RC. At the moment when the resonance frequency of the circuit RC1 is coincident with a fixed resonance frequency of the circuit RC, a high-frequency energy unidirectionally produced from the circuit RC1 to ward the RC is nonadiabatically transmitted, allowing to cause high-frequency pulse oscillation to the circuit RC. |
