PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture and assembly, by a method wherein a pair of links for chain are constituted such that a hook-shaped link made of a round steel engages a coupling hook body made of a long oval lamellar material having a projecting axis at one end and a hook at the other end. CONSTITUTION:A coupling link body 20 is inserted in a hollow part 11 of a link body 10 and in a direction of an arrow mark A in a manner that the end part, located opposite to the end where an axis-shaped projection 21 is formed on its plane surface part, is positioned at the head. Then, if the coupling link body 20 is pulled in a direction of an arrow mark B, the axis-shaped projection 21 on one end of the plane part of the coupling link body 20 engages a hook- shaped opening 12 of the link body 10, and assembling of one-partition as a unit body is completed. A given number of sets of the one-partitions so assembled are coupled such that an opening part 23 in the coupling body 20 of each assembly body mates the link body 10 of the adjoining assembly body in a direction as shown in an arrow mark C, and this assemblies them into one string of chain body with a given length. |
