PURPOSE:To elevate reliability of linear or dot line-like seam welding, and to save energy, by pinch-holding a material to be joined, by upper and lower rollers, moving it, and irradiating a laser light from the upper direction. CONSTITUTION:On a lower roller 9, a material to be joined 8 is placed, a rocking lever 5 is turned counterclockwise, and the material to be joined is pressed and pinch-held from the upper and lower parts by a truncated cone shape upper roller. In this state, the material to be joined 8 is moved in the horizontal direction by driving a motor 16, also laser light is made to pass through a reflection body 11 obliquely provided on the rocking lever 5, and a condensing lens 12, and a focus is formed on the material to be joined, from the upper direction. In this case, since the material to be joined 8 moves in the horizontal direction, linear seam welding is executed. Also, when this laser light is irradiated intermittently, dot line-like seam welding is executed. |
