PURPOSE:To contrive energy conservation by ventilation utilizing a wind, by a method wherein the outside air is taken in from the windward side into a roof space through an intake control box, and hot air in the garret space is discharged to the lee side through an exhaust control box. CONSTITUTION:The outside air is taken in from the windward side into the roof space 9 through the intake control box 2 provided with a check valve 16 and a slide damper 22 operated by a remote-controlling wire (not shown), and the hot air in the garret space 9 is discharged to the lee side through the exhaust control box 1 provided with a check valve 17 and a slide damper 23 operated by a remote-controlling wire (not shown). For example, when the wind blows leftwards, the outside air enters the space 9 through a ventilating port 7 at the top of eaves by pushing the check valve 16 open. On the other hand, a negative pressure is generated in a ventilating port 8 on the lee side, and the hot air in the space 9 is discharged to the exterior through the port 8 by pushing the check valve 17 open. In winter, when the remote-controlling wires are pulled to close the dampers 22, 23, movements of air are stopped and heat-insulating condition is obtained. |
