<p>PURPOSE:To save manpower by using an industrial robot for a vehicle assembly line of mixed multiple car types so as to air-blow correctly the attached oil on the bleeder valve section after air-bleeding a brake system while moving in synchronism with the moving vehicle. CONSTITUTION:An industrial robot 5 is driven and controlled by a robot drive section 17, and as soon as a vehicle 2b is conveyed to a predetermined position, an arm 7 contracted and in wait begins to extend, and after approaching the vehicle 2b it is moved in synchronism along the vehicle 26 over a predetermined block. During that time, an air injection nozzle 6 is moved based on the work data for the vehicle 6, e.g., to the left front wheel 21a, right front wheel 21b, right rear wheel 21c, and left rear wheel 21d in sequence so as to air-blow uniformly individual bleeder valves 22a-22d inside individual wheels 21a-21d in sequence at a proper injection angle. As a result, the predetermined air blow work for the vehicle 2b can be automatically performed with the industrial robot 5.</p> |
