PURPOSE:To enhance convenience in use, by a method wherein a digital data reproducing means is provided, and a video signal can be selectively inputted into either a CRT display device or the data reproducing means, in a cooking oven with a video reproducer. CONSTITUTION:Digital data such as cooking data are stored in a video signal recording medium provided in the video reproducer 6 together with a picture signal. In accordance with a control program stored in an ROM12, a CPU9 controls a change-over switching means 16 for the video signal through an input/output port 13-3, and operates the video reproducer 6. At the time of displaying a picture, the switching means 16 is changed over to the CRT display side and the picture is displayed on the CRT display device 4. At the time of reading data, the switching means 16 is changed over to the data production side, and the data are read into an RAM11 through a video data reproducing means 18. Accordingly, convenience in use can be enhanced. |
