PURPOSE:To take out balls continuously and in a simple manner by a method wherein a ball receiving cylinder is formed between a ball introducing cylinder provided within the trunk of the titled device and the inner wall of the trunk and ball drop interceptor to be engaged with either one side of an elevating mechanism, a counting unit is provided. CONSTITUTION:In the ball take-out device adopted to wash the interior of a heat exchanger tube with sponge balls, the ball receiving cylinder 3 is formed between the ball introducing cylinder 2 provided within the trunk 1 of the ball take-out device and the inner wall of the trunk 1 so that a ball holding section 7 is provided by the trunk 1, the ball introducing cylinder 2 and the ball receiving cylinder 3. Further, the elevating mechanism 6 capable of moving the cylinders 2 and 3 relative to each other is provided and the counting unit 9 and a stopper 10 linked to the former so as to open and close are provided on the ball introducing cylinder 2. With the above structure, the sponge balls 11 are introduced into a take-out port 8 when the cylinder 2 is moved downward and the cylinder 3 upward by rotating the cylinder 2 with a rotary drive mechanism 5 and the stopper 10 is closed when a predetermined number of balls have passed through the counting unit 9. |
