PURPOSE:To provide a general-purpose assortment controller which can program details of an assortment control, by a method wherein an assortment is made through receipt of data of assortment item and an output signal from a detector group of each conveying device. CONSTITUTION:An assortment controller consists of the following devices; register 1 which temporarily stores data ID of assortment item inputted from the outside; a sensor state memory part 2 which stores input data from a detector, mounted to each conveying device and detecting passage and arrival of commodities, with the passage of a time; a commodity assortment item memory part 3 which stores the data ID corresponding to the order of the commodities arranged on each conveying device; an assortment instruction output buffer 4; a control assortment input part 5; an assortment control program memory part 6 which stores an instruction, inputted by the input part 5, according to an execution order; and a computation control part 7 which executes the program of the memory part 6 and sets an outer condition signal, such as detectors, in the memory part 2. |
