PURPOSE:To enhance the combustion properties of both a small-type kitchen stove and a grill, by a method wherein the amount of primary air taken in at the time of directing a burner upwards is made to be smaller than that at the time of directing the burner downwards in response to the reversing of the direction, in a cooker capable of being used as a small-type kitchen stove and a grill by reversing the direction of a burner upwards and downwards. CONSTITUTION:When the burner 1 is directed upwards and the cooker is used as a small-type kitchen stove, an auxiliary port 5 for primary air is moved to the upper side, so that the port 5 does not coincide with an opening 8 of an auxiliary damper 6, and the opening 8 is closed. Therefore, the primary air is taken in only through a sector hole 10 of a main damper 9, a sector hole 7 of the auxiliary damper 6 and a primary air port 4. On the other hand, when the burner 1 is directed downwards, the port 5 coincides with the opening 8, and the intake of air through this part results in a larger amount of primary air as compared with that in the case of directing the burner 1 upwards. Accordingly, when the amounts of air in both of the cases are appropriately set, favorable combustion can be achieved in both the small-type kitchen stove and the grill. |
