PURPOSE:To elevate reliability of linear seam welding, by pinch-holding a material to be joined by upper and lower rollers, moving it, and irradiating a laser light from the diagonally upper direction by use of 2 reflection bodies and a condensing lens. CONSTITUTION:On a lower roller 9, a material to be joined 8 is placed, a rocking lever 5 is turned counterclockwise, and the material to be joined 8 is pressed and pinch-held from the upper and lower parts by an upper groove roller 16. Simultaneously when the material to be joined 8 is moved in the horizontal direction by driving a motor 18, laser light is made to pass through a condensing lens 12 and the second reflection body 13 from the first reflection body 11 obliquely provided on the rocking lever 5, and a focus is formed on the material to be joined 8 from the diagonally upper direction. In this case, the material to be joined 8 moves in the horizontal direction at a constant speed, therefore, linear seam welding is executed. Also, when the laser light is irradiated intermittently, dot line-like seam welding is executed. |
