PURPOSE:To easily manufacture a small and light pipe provided with needle- shaped fins used for heat exchanger with few manpowers, by manufacturing two recessed plates equipped with needle-shaped fins and bonding the two plates by making their recessed sides face to each other. CONSTITUTION:A billet 9 is inserted to the inside of a female die 1 by placing a brazing material 8 to face the outside and is pressed to the prescribed thickness by inserting a male die 6 to the inside of the female die 1, and then the die 6 is retreated to take out a semi-fabricated billet 10 after pressing. In this process, the billet 9 provided with the brazing material 8 is plastically deformed into a recessed plate 11, and at the same time, a part of the billet 9 is forced into forming holes 3 to be plastically formed into needle-shaped fins 12. Next, the two billets 10 are fed into a heating furnace by making the recessed sides of the plates 11 face to each other, and then, a pipe 14 provided with needle-shaped fins used for heat exchanger is obtained by unifying the same billets 10 with the aid of the brazing material 8. |
