PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of ignition by limiting the ignition timing based on the computed result of a digital computer within the range of a fixed revolution angle of an engine for preventing the abnormal ignition caused by a great change of revolution or other ignition at an abnormal time. CONSTITUTION:A captioned device is provided with a digital computer 10 into which signals of position sensors 2 and 3 on the circumference of a disk 1 synchronized with the revolution of an engine. This computer 10 reads signals from a clock generator 6 and a latch circuit 9, computes the ignition timing in accordance with the number of revolutions of the engine, sends the resultant control signal to an FF circuit via registers 11, 12, accord circuits 13 and 14, and controls an ignition coil 19 via transistors 16 and 18. In this construction, the third position sensor 24 is fixed on the circumference of a disk 23 synchronously rotating with the disk 1, and the AND of the output Pe thereof and an output R of the accord circuit 14 is taken by an AND gate 27, whose output R, Pe is inputted into a reset terminal of the FF circuit 15. |
