PURPOSE:To perform high accuracy measurement by providing a reference photo element that outputs only dark current in the vicinity of a detection element and performing correction based on the output of both elements in the state of no exposure and the output of the reference element during the measurement of the amount of light. CONSTITUTION:A CCD sensors 100-105 are connected to an arithmetic and processing device through a multiplexer 106, sample and hold circuit 107, A/D converter 108 and via an input port 122. On both sides of a photo-element that is placed parallel to sensors 100-105 a reference photo-element that outputs only dark current through a separate photo-element is provided. The above said arithmetic and processing device calculates the temperature constant and outputs the calculation results to a resister 102 through an output port 121. The output of the detection element during the measurement of the amount of light and the output of the detection element in the state of no exposure at a reference temperature are stored in RAM112 and RAM114. For each stored data correction calculation is carried out by registers 116-118, a multiplier 119 and an adder-subtractor 120. |
