摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain an X-ray power source device which has a small capacity and an excellent characteristic by reducing the voltage pulsation by making the output of a high-voltage rectifying circuit to be added with a pulsation-suppressing high-frequency voltage, which corresponds to the pulsating part of the output pulsating voltage of the rectifying circuit, and produces a voltage which is proportional to the pulsating voltage and has a reverse polarity to the pulsating voltage, and by preventing any field distortion of a high-frequency transformer by inserting a capacitor which cuts direct currents so that any rectified direct current of a main circuit doesn't flow into a pulsation-suppressing high-frequency electric power source. CONSTITUTION:When a thyristor switch 4 is turned on by the command of a control circuit 14, a three-phase alternating voltage is applied to the primary winding of a high-voltage transformer 5, high voltage develops in the secondary wiring of the transformer 5, and the high voltage is rectified with rectifiers 6 and 7 before being applied to an X-ray tube 8. During the time when voltage is applied to the tube 8, X-rays are irradiated from the tube 8. Capacitors 18 and 19 block a main-circuit direct current flowing from a pulsation suppressing circuit to a transformer 15, and prevents any field distortion of the iron core of the transformer 15. As a result, a remarkably smooth high-voltage direct current can be realized with a small effective circuit by regulation of the low-voltage part.
