PURPOSE:To reduce the exposure of radiation to workers with a greater workability at a small place limited in the space by separately providing a probe with flaw detecting, rotating, clamping and sliding mechanisms for automatization. CONSTITUTION:A driver of a probe 26 is set on a welding coupling 101 of a piping 100 to be detected and fixed thereon 100 with a handle 13 in a clamping mechanism 10. The probe 26 is brought into contact with the outer surface of the piping 100 by a force of an adjusting screw 22 and a spring in a flaw detecting mechanism 20. Then, as with the running of a motor 34, a U-shaped gear 33 is rotated by way of gears 31 and 32, the flaw detecting machanism 20 fixed on the U-shaped gear 33 rotates over the entire circumference of the piping 100. The probe 26 is moved along the axis of the piping 100 with a sliding mechanism 40 including a motor 41 to perform an ultrasonic flow detection. This improves the workability at a small place to protect workers from the expsoure of radiation through a remote control. |
