PURPOSE:To reduce variation of the rate of fuel injection by controlling the degree of opening of the fuel in/out communication hole, furnished at the side of a sleeve member in the governer system, by the use of a communication hole restricting member and by lessening displacement of the sleeve member owing to engine vibration at the time of idling operation. CONSTITUTION:At the time of idling operation, a communication hole restricting member 49 blocks No.2 communication hole 48 in goberner sleeve 32, into and out of which the fuel flows only through No.1 communication hole 47, so that this fuel flow will become more difficult than that at the time of high-load operation. Even though a half misfiring initiates vibrations in the engine and they propagate to the governer sleeve 32, the sleeve displacement with respect to engine vibration becomes slow, so that variation in the rate of fuel injection will decrease to ensure reduced vibrations in the engine. |
