DETECTOR FOR IDLING DEGREE OF OPENING OF THROTTLE VALVE OF CARBURETOR

PURPOSE:To facilitate adjusting work and heighten the degree of freedom of design, by integrating a throttle valve opening degree adjusting screw with a switch body for turning on and off the contacts of an electric circuit and by providing a support means of prescribed structure for the screw. CONSTITUTION:A throttle valve lever 15 for urging a throttle valve 13 by a spring 16 in such a direction as to move the valve back is secured on a throttle valve shaft 14 integrated with the throttle valve located in an intake passage 12. A detector 17 for the idling degree of opening of the throttle valve 13 is placed so that the detector corresponds to the bent end 15A of the lever 15. The detector 17 has a casing 18 which is made of an electric insulator and hung with an adjusting screw 26 from a support 24. A switch body 20 made of an electroconductive material is placed so that the switch body corresponds to terminals 19A, 19B on the step 18A of the casing 18. The shank 26C between the head 26A and flange 26B of the adjusting screw 26 is fitted in the support hole 24B of the central part of the support 24 so that the screw is elastically supported by a spring 27.
