PURPOSE:To obtain an oscillating member for speaker superior in strength and rigidity, by taking notice of the metal plating method which is more inexpensive than the vacuum deposition method and has the merit suitable for mass production, so that using this metal plating method. CONSTITUTION:In case of the production for a diaphragm 4 and a voice coil 6 incorporated in a speaker 1, metallic materials such as aluminium, titanium, and beryllium are formed into a shape like a layer on an auxiliary base material, which consists of a conductive plastic film, by the electroplating method. The ayxiliary base material of the condutive plastic film is peeled off from the base material of the plated metallic layer to obtain the base material consisting of only the plated metallic layer. In the next process, the base material is heated while introducing a required microwave plasma in a gaseous ammonia or an appropriated medium including nitrogen of it to perform the nitrifying operation for increasing the content of nitrogen for the purpose of hardening the surface of the base material, thus obtaining an oscillating member consisting of only a nitrified layer. |
