A magazine (2) for a row of fastening clips in clip driving tools for fixing fastening clips, particularly for electric cables and the like, is provided with flanges (2a) and adapted glidable in the tool body (1). A clip advancing slide (3) is accommodated in the body and has an advancing spring (7), there being also provided in the body a striker (6) intended for being hit by a hammer for driving in a clip. The magazine (2) has a constant cross section for the whole of its length and its major portion is slightly wider than the pin portion (8a) of the clip. A pin positioning means (16) is screwed into one end of the magazine to guide the clip when it is being driven, there being also arranged in association with the means a support arm (20), the free end of which is formed as a fork (20a) to engage round the pin portion when it is being driven in. The means (16) is also provided with a circular hole for a catch (5) to lock the magazine (2) to the body (1) and has the form of a cylindrical sleeve surrounding the tip of the striker (6). |
