Debris from the roadhead is deflected by an inclined plate 26 onto a conveyor 21 delivering to the pushers which are pivoted at 19 and moved by single or double rams. In a modification the plate 26 and conveyor 21 are replaced by a chain driven scraper plate reciprocated over a table to carry debris to either side of the roadway. |
