PURPOSE:To provide a compact distribution valve which includes a supply advancing mechanism and whose structure is simple, by providing a supply time changing oblique groove on the valve element of the distribution valve for distributing fuel to an injecting section and by using a driving mechanism to cause the valve element to slide in the axial direction. CONSTITUTION:A rotary shaft 12, which rotates synchronously with a cam shaft, is inserted in the housing 11 of a distribution valve 10. The valve element 13 is fitted on the splines 12b of the end 12a of the shaft 12. The valve element 13 functions so that fuel conducted under pressure from an inlet port IP is distributed to outlet ports P1-P6 connected to injectors. A groove 13a, which is oblique at a prescribed angle to the axial direction of the valve element 13, is provided on its peripheral surface. The valve element1 13 can be appropriately moved in the axial direction to easily change the time of fuel jetting to the outlet ports P1-P6, in relation to the rotation angle of the valve element. |
