PURPOSE:To set desired data at a specified place of an electronic balance, etc. by storing in a memory required data on the names of a plurality of articles, their unit prices, tare weights, etc. and displaying on a CRT the contents of the memory and retrieving the above said display data by means of a light pen. CONSTITUTION:A memory 1 stores beforehand the names of articles, their unit prices, tare weights, article name codes, etc. that are inputted to it by using the keyboard 11. The contents of memory of device 1 are displayed on a CRT display device 2 in accordance with the control of a control device 4. A light pen 3 retrieves the data displayed on the device 2, and the retrieved data, for instance, a unit price is inputted to the price calculation section 30 through a device 4, and a tare weight is input to the weight calculation section 20, and unnecessary data such as the name of article or code number is cut. The output is displayed in letters and figures by a display section 40, and also given to a printer 60. Further, the output of the device 4 is inputted to a voice synthesizer 70, and the data to be set on the names of articles, their unit prices, tares, etc. is output as voice through a speaker 71 for confirmation by the hearing sense. |
